Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: ROOTS-L Digest V06 #99

Hi:

I am in a bit of a pickle. I have photos of my real Grandfather in military
dress, two different shots. The thing is I can't seem to find anyone in St.
Louis area that can identify the clothes. I have been on several military
sites on line but the military ones want you to join and I am on a very fixed
income so I can't join too many clubs. The people here at the National
Cemetery tell me it looks like submarine dress. The family was real secret
about Grandmother's husbands as there were five. Three died.

I wonder if there is someone I could mail photos to. I have the printer that
I can scan on but I am not sure of that either. I was in a disaster in 1999
and open heart surgery two years ago and they took some of my skills away
but I do pretty well.

Please any ideas will be helpful.
Thanks Marian, St. Louis, MO.
