Subject: [ROOTS-L] Question on Death Certificate Codes - WV

Does anyone know the codes on West Virginia Death
Certificates under the contributory reasons of cause
of death?

For example, one ancestor was a suicide and the
contributory code was 976.

I've run across many certificates with these codes.

Is there a place online where I can find out?
