Subject: [ROOTS-L] Archie Gideon

In 2000 I inherited a picture from my Granny's estate.  On the back is written, "Archie Gideon and Friend."  I am estimating this picture to have been taken around 1922.  Both people in the picture are male.  One is a teenager, the other older, possibly early twenties.

As my Granny lived in Missouri her whole life and her father was a photographer first in Webster County, Mo and later in Springfield, Greene County, Mo, I assume this picture was taken there.  A search of the SSDI came up with Archie Gideon, born 2 Nov 1904, Died Aug 1986, last residence 65803, Springfield, Greene County, MO.  The SSDI also said he was a retired Railroad Worker.  

If anyone can claim connection to this Archie Gideon, please contact me as I want the picture to find a home.  All I am requesting is a postage paid envelope to mail it in.
