I am seeking when and where my GGGG-grandfather James HARRISON died and was buried. Does anyone have any connections to him and his children? I descend directly from him through his son William Brice HARRISON & Emma Jane OSBORNE, who migrated to Iowa and then settled in Saunders County, Nebraska in 1870. James HARRISON'S father-in-law was Samuel BRICE, a Revolutionary War veteran in Captain Fife's Militia. James HARRISON had 2 brothers -- Robert, husband of Rebecca VanMeter [who's daughters Cynthia and Anna's names were used to name Cynthiana, Kentucky], William HARRISON Jr. who married Sophia DUNN and a sister Keziah HARRISON DUNN [wife of James DUNN, brother of Sophia]. Cynthiana, the county seat of Harrison County, is located in north central Kentucky. Cynthiana was chartered as a town on December 10, 1793. The log settlement on the South Fork of the Licking River was chosen to be the county seat of the newly-formed Harrison County. It was named after Cynthia and Anna, two daughters of Mr. Robert Harrison's, the original owner. Cynthia and Anna. Cynthiana was incorporated as a town in 1802. Also the mother of Mary BRICE [wife of James HARRISON] was Rachel BOONE, who was a cousin to Daniel BOONE, though I have not found out which of his uncles was Rachel's father.
