If you were on a PC I'd suggest trying right-clicking on the picture to see if it brings up a menu of options, one being "Save as jpeg image". I don't know much about MACS but I thought I'd post the directions for PC users and also hope that someone who knows MACs would recognize this method and know a compatible one with the other operating system.
