Checking the Civil War Soldiers & Sailors site, no Coluqitt for CSA comes up
...

What info do you have that leads you to the particular name in the CSA from
AL ?

** are you sure you have the right man???

 Alfred Holt COLQUITT
COLQUITT, Alfred Holt, (son of Walter Terry Colquitt), a
Representative and a Senator ... entered the Confederate Army and served
throughout the Civil War, ...

If Walter Terry Colquitt was the father of Alfred Holt Colquitt, then he
(Walter) most likely would have been too old to have served in the Civil
War. And it seem from the bio, perhaps the family was in GA rather than
AL -
I believe your man may be Walter Terry Colquitt - the War of 1812 -- GA

The Political Graveyard: Muscogee County, Ga. Walter Terry Colquitt
(1799-1855) - also known as Walter T. Colquitt - of ... Served in the US
Army during the War of 1812; member of Alabama state house of ...
