Subject: [ROOTS-L] Vital Records - Marriage - Des Moines County Iowa

Can someone tell me where I can get a record for a marriage that took 
place in Des Moines COUNTY Iowa in 1931.  I can't determine if the 
County Recorder's office would have it or if I will have to go to the 
State Capitol.  From what I can determine it looks like not all 
marriage records were kept at the  county court house.
