Subject: [ROOTS-L] Oral History

For those interested in the program I used for the Oral History recordings, it is Focus MP3 Recorder. It is found on Downloads.com. You can try it for free and then only $24.95 to purchase. I also suggest using a clip on microphone that I found at an office supply store for $7.99. I tried the desk stand type of microphone but it didn't pick up very well. Also the nice thing about the clip on is that my father completely forgot it was there and was very spontanious vs. being reminded he was being recorded when he saw the microphone desk type.

  Hope this helps.
Pam
