Subject: [ROOTS-L] New York Police Census 1890

Hi

As the 1890 census for Manhattan has been destroyed by
fire I am hoping to find a family in the 1890 Police
census. I have a pretty good idea of where they would
be living (70 Essex Street) but I note that the LDS
have about 60 films covering the census.

Does anyone understand there way around this data and
how I can identify which film I need or any other way
of accessing the information.
