Subject: [ROOTS-L] Genealogy Books Donations

Hi to All,

Due to Hurricane Katrina our Libraries on The Mississippi Gulf Coast area
where wiped out completely. I am Happy to report that this past week we
finally got three Libraries opened again. We also finally got one book store (
Barnes and Nobles) to open. Thanks to all the wonderful people from all over the
USA that donated books to our Libraries these are getting replenished. Our
one and only LDS Library is still small and the hours are still not compatible
as you must be a member of the church to even volunteer for the LDS to be
opened extra days and hours.
So my request is this, if there is anyone that would like to DONATE
Genealogy books to our Libraries they would be happy to accept them. The books can be
sent to the Libraries or they can be sent to me and I can take to them. All
of us that are Interested in Genealogy would be most Gratefully appreciated.
Below are the addresses for our Libraries.

Orange Grove Library
12031 Mobile Ave., Gulfport, Ms 39503

Margaret S. Sherry Memorial Library

Pass Christian Public Library
This Library is Opened temporarily In a tent for children to read during the
summer. Books have been donated for when they get their building finished.

Our FHC

For My Address e-mail me direct.

So if you have a Genealogy Book that you no longer want or need and want to
donate send it. We will appreciate it.

Thanks
Carol
