Subject: [ROOTS-L] Puffer - Whitney

I search the index of two books re John Whitney who settled in Watertown, MA and Samuel Whitney who settled in Roxbury, MA. Neither had the surname PUFFER.

These books are online via Heritage Quest. I entered Whitney for the name, no location entry, and Early Settler for the 3rd box.

There is another book The Whitney Family of Connecticut, which I did not search. Has about 10 volumes.
