Subject: [ROOTS-L] Kahn family

Hi, 
I have run into some road blocks and would appreciate anyone that can nudge me forward...
Joseph Kahn was born 1871 in Schalbach, Alsace Lorraine, Germany...he immigrated to the U.S. { question} in 1885 ....he was naturalized in { question} 1887...Joseph first shows up on my screen in 1893....Grand Junction, Colorado, where he is married to Myrtie Mable Pegg { question}...next he shows up in the year 1898 in Fort Collins, Colorado...he leaves there somewhere around 1908...{ question} ...finally Joseph and family are listed in the 1910, 1920, 1930 census for Caldwell, Idaho..Joseph died in the 1920's of heart problems.
I have checked all Ancestry's census sheets for a Joseph Kahn anywhere in the states in 1900...I can't find him.
Questions are: can anyone find him....
where did he come into the country?
where was he naturalized?
where was he between 1885 and 1893?
where was he inbetween 1893 and 1898?
where was he after leaving Fort Collins, 1908?
