Subject: [ROOTS-L] Gilead WILMOT 1800s Windsor, Broome, NY > possibly PA

Gilead WILMOT (b. abt 1791 CT - 1829) and Lucinda OWEN had a son Ephraim
F. WILMOT born 1826 in Windsor, Broome Co., New York. E. F. Wilmot (as the
son was frequently called) was a physician in Great Bend, Susquehanna Co.,
PA for a number of years. Gilead WILMOT was buried in the Woodlawn Cem. in
Great Bend when his son was a young child.

I cannot locate Gilead WILMOT in the 1810 and 1820 census, nor any other
for that matter. I would like to learn more about him, potential parents,
and possible connections to Clement and Thomas WILMOT who moved back and
forth from Broome Co., NY and Great Bend, PA, only about 9 miles distant.
