Subject: [ROOTS-L] Ancestry Problems

After trying to e-mail Ancestry about a half-dozen times with no reponse, I began calling them anytime I had a problem accessing information. They have always been most helpful. I used to pull up a newspaper page, search for the name Hinote that I entered and it would be something like Hi Note (some kind of audio system, I think), a character in a play, a musical group, or a word foreign to what I put in. At least it was highlighted. Now I have to read the entire page to find what I want, if it's there at all! I have, for the last 5 years, found information on Ancestry that I would never have found anywhere else, but have used primarily census, state and county records. I do not download any any information from individual sites, but take only notes to search later. Mary P.
