Subject: [ROOTS-L] Ancestry's new look

I also do not like the new look and the results obtained. I used to be able
to select either an exact search or a soundex search, but not it seems I
automatically get a soundex search. Also, the old format used to tell me how
many matches I got and this one doesn't so I don't have a clue how much
futile searching I may have to do. The only positive aspect I can see to the
new search results is that it does seem to put first the names that either
exactly or most closely match what I searched for. I'd really rather they
went back to the former format. Sharon in NY
