Subject: [ROOTS-L] Joseph Price

My thanks to all who answered my request with ideas and suggestions on my way searching for my elusive gggrandfather, Joseph, born "near Fredericksburg", on Feb.2,1787. His first two children were evidently born in Va., Emeline in 1815, and Jacob in 1818. He was on the Pa. census in 1820, so that narrows down the time of their moving from Va. to Pa.
There are four Joseph Prices in the Va. census of 1810. Assuming he was the head of the household, one of them might be HIM. As he was not yet married, he may not have been.
But now, how do I go about finding out about these four so I can tell.  One is in Abemarle Co.  another in Cumberland,  one in Franklin and one in Hanover.  Is there any possible way to find out more about these Josephs?   Where can I go from here?             Thelda Price Sixsmith in sunny Florida [waiting for the hurricanes!}
