VA, 16 Aug 1779. Joseph was dead by 1799 when his son, Joseph, Jr., was born in Henderson Co, KY. Mary Walker Barnett m. (2) Samuel Harding Lewis. They settled in St. Char;les Co., MO, and later removed to Pike Co., IL, where they both are buried in Callaway Cemetery, Pike Co. Joseph Barnett, Jr. became a lawyer. ***Mary had a sister, ELIZABETH WALKER, who married Mottrom Lewis, the brother of her husband Samuel. That couple also lived in St. Charles Co., on land adjacent to that of Mary and Samuel. DESPERATELY seeking parents and siblings of Mary and Elizabeth.
