If married no place of birth is indicated, again only for the head of the household. You didn't say whether she was married and if so to whom (that might help) and if she had children. Just so you know in 1930......Mary Murphy's listed.... Brooklyn, Kings County, New York - 69 born around 1892; 353 of all ages New York State - 1,881 United States - 9,304. Even cutting it down to that age bracket and the town of Brooklyn it is a daunting task without knowing more about the person. Sorry........It's as bad as hunting for a James Flynn (my great grandfather).
