I don't believe most people are too lazy to change the Subject line 
necessarily but are careless in not proof reading the content of 
their message and thinking about the clarity of it.  Ask yourself, 
"is the Subject line clear and specific". Then, "is it addressed to 
the people I intend to reach".  Read all your message and determine 
if what you've said will be understood by those receiving it. 

I ignore most e-mails with vague Subject lines so seldom get to the  
message part.
