TN I have just found the mother of our Martha Louise Barksdale in 1850 Polk Co. TN census. Her mother is Rebecca Bedwell, dau. of John Bedwell but I find no record of the father ? Barksdale. Anyone know about this family? Polk Co. TN in 1850 census HH# 416/420 Bedwell John age 80 NC Wheelwrigth --, Melvina age 23 NC idiot Barksdale, Rebecca age 40 Tennessee --, Andrew J. age 16 TN farmer --, Armenia A. age 14 TN --. Martha L. age 10 TN --, William H. age 4 TN Martha L. is Martha Louise that married Benjamin Coxsey about 1858. In 1870 they are in Carroll Co. AR. Cannot find Ben Coxsey in 1860, but Rebecca Barksdale can be found in Polk Co. TN census 1860,1870. I would really like to find the husband of Rebecca. Thanks, Fleta
