Subject: [ROOTS-L] Family Tree

Lori,

If you use PAF 5 you might want to go to www.familyhistoryguide.com and look
at the charts that can be created using GenCharts for PAF. On the home
page, click on the link to 'more GenCharts information'. These are not
exactly what you are asking for but they are really nice. The Descendant
Summary Chart shows the names of the parents and their children and then
numbers for the following generations. The Family Tree Chart is an graphic
tree with a green top and brown roots, trunk, and branches. It lists the
initials of five generations of both the husband's and wife's ancestors,
their children's first names, their grandchildren's first names and then
numbers for the following generations. It is printed on one 8 1/2 by 11
inch page and makes a very nice display. It can be easily reprinted each
time your data file is updated. There are also other lists that deal with
descendants in different ways. GenCharts for PAF prints these lists and
charts directly from your PAF 5 data file.
