Of course you are correct, but I'm talking about trees with no identifying information on the tree itself.

There is no submitter to send anything to.

|<<Matter of fact, how about labeling the legacy trees as what
|they are! >>
|
|That is sometimes done. Take for example Dick Dutton's Master
| File: http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=dickdutton

This is great! Just what I meant. Now, if we could just take care of those other trees with no identifying
"marks"

Of course, I just ignore them, but some people really get upset when they can't contact the originator of
a tree. Especially when it is "wrong"

|I think what is really important (if anything important comes of this
|thread) is for people to realize that their family trees on
|WorldConnect and their
|Freepages genealogy websites are their property and are part
|of their estate
|and arrangements should be in place for them upon their demise
|just like
|arrange for the disposition of other property they own. if
|more people did this
|there wouldn't be so many apparently abandoned websites and
|family trees out
|there.
