ANSWER:

YES there is a program to do this. It's called Genopro (www.genopro.com).
It's awesome, but with some limitations (all programs have some). Genopro
is a program for creating Genograms, which are family tree diagrams that
also allow one to show, via use of symbols, family dynamics such as
adoption, miscarriage, alcoholism, separation, unwed relationship,
pregnancy, etc. Social Workers and others in family counseling field use
these to show patterns of behaviors.

You do not have to use the symbols; you can just use the program to create
your family tree diagram. I do not think you can get the type of reports you
can from Fam. Tree Maker or others, but it is an excellent way to visually
see the diagram. WARNING: I would not recommend using this program until
you have a good foundation for your family. I started using it when I only
had my great-grandparents and down to my nieces/nephew. As I started
getting information on my parents' uncles and great-uncles/aunts, it became
harder to add them into the program as you have to move the people you
already have to accommodate more.

You can also print the diagram out; as it gets bigger you can set it to
print on, say 5 pages across, 2 pages down. The more pages you set it to
print on, the larger the print. It even prints "markers" or "guides" to
show you where to cut the paper to make the pages fit together.

Genopro used to be a free version for the basic version with upgrades
available for a fee. I don't think they have the free version anymore,
though they do offer a free trial. Go to the homepage and you can see an
example of what the diagrams might look like.
