Subject: [ROOTS-L] Ancestry.com

We're beating this horse to death. Ancestry.com (I've had a subscription for about 10+ years or so) has been very forthright and straight always with me on questions, problems, Additions to the trees (both World tree) and their earlier ones. They offer what I consider an extremely reasonable service for a very fair price. And, while I realize that some can not afford the cost/s, for me personally, it has been a tremendous savings as I have hundreds of marriages, census records, divorces, deaths, WWI draft registration records, WWII registration data, etc. that took many hours more to obtain and at higher cost. Earlier it was necessary to copy records I could locate on the slow census and other record reels or "fiche" at library microfiche readers at 25 cents per page.

Use it or not, your choice, and like most things in life - "different strokes for different folks." The wealth of available alternatives for doing research helps all of us! And, I'll take help from anyone on BISHOP families of Baltimore, Maryland area, Cockey, Royston, McClung, Morrison, Loane, King; and from my wife's southern roots in Florida and Georgia on Sumner (GA & FL), Adams (AL & FL), Flanders (GA, FL), Bradley (GA, FL). Now, I'm going to seek more records...

Have a great weekend and share yourself with those you love and don't have to research!
