Ann, I am sorry that you are having such a hard time with  Ancestry.com.  
I started having problems day before yesterday logging on.  I called  them 
and a very nice lady helped me by resetting my password.  She didn't  have an 
explanation for what had happened but it was fixed quickly, and I  haven't any 
problems since.  I often would prefer to send e-mails but I  think it's more 
effective to make the phone call because you are talking to a  real person.
