Your point is well taken and certainly does not offend. Personal
Ancestral File (PAF) is the genealogy software created by the Mormon church. It can
be downloaded at no charge from their web site (_www.familysearch.org_
(http://www.familysearch.org) )

Hi,
Please explain what the acronym PAF represents. Every 'arena' has a
vocabulary, and usually those who are well versed in that 'arena' know what
these letters represent. This technique is commonly done, but the
assumption that all parties are knowledgeable of their meaning is not
correct. So I ask everyone to please first write out the meaning, i.e.
Family Tree Maker, then use FTM in the text. Oh, and while I am thinking of
it, the same for pronouns. PLEASE use the noun first in responses in the
TEXT of the message. So often I read something like "That was a good idea"
and I wonder what the pronoun is modifying.

I sincerely hope my message does not offend anyone, because my
desire id to improve communication and not to make anyone uncomfortable
while sharing with the group.

Thank you, and stay well. FRED in PA
