My primary software is PAF which can be downloaded free of charge from
FamilySearch. I have been very pleased with the format and ease of use. It does
all the basic reports.

I have also tried Legacy and like it as well, but since I started with PAF
decided to stick with it and only use Legacy for some of its report features.
Of course, this requires me to create a new gedcom but load it to Legacy,
but since I don't print reports very often I don't consider that a problem.

I am not a FTM fan since everytime I had it loaded on my pc it caused
problems. Granted this was an older version (about 5 or 6 years ago) but since it
didn't offer me anything better than PAF or Legacy I decided I didn't need it.

Personally I think you should choose whatever software is the easiest for
you to use and that gives you the reporting that you want.

JON
