I do believe, if all of you would read  the original message again, you will 
find that they copied her personal  notes, etc.  Therefore, if it contains 
one 
personal note, the whole  article is a copyright.  For those who think they

the laws of  copyrights, I suggest you read up on it.

I don't know where you got the idea that if an article includes one  personal 
note that extends copyright protection to the whole article--but there  is no 
basis at all for that statement in copyright law. ONLY the personally  created
 original content is copyrightable.  You cannot extend your  copyright to 
anything you didn't create.
