Subject: [ROOTS-L] Armida passengers on list

Found at least a partial list of Armida passengers on-line for 1852. The
site is called "Emigrants from Schleswig Holstein in the year 1852 to
North-America". See http://www.genealogy-sh.com/1852.htm and use your
"find" function for Armida (There are several ships listed, but alphabetical
by passenger name, not by ship. The name of the ship is the 5th column
over.) Don't know how accurate this site is, but surely is a start. And the
port of arrival is listed as Quebec.

>How do you find records for a ship that is not listed in the `ship lists'?
>I have a microfilm account of the `Armida', mastered by Captain Rose whose
>route was via the port of Hamburg, through Quebec, Canada, disenbarking at
>the
>port of Buffalo, New York in May of 1852. Yet I have been unable to find
>any
>more details on this ship, it's master or passengers.
>Any help would be appreciated.
>Thank you,
>Carol D.
