Hello Carol

I googled 'Armida passenger' and received lots of hits, but you will have to filter through them all. There is actually an Immigrant Ships Transcribers Guild and they have a website, I have posted the link below.

http://www.immigrantships.net/v7/surnamesv7/splme_v7.htm

In fact you might find more info on the ship if you change the spelling...for instance someone might have recorded info about it and used the name Armeda, or Amida etc. You might be able to get in contact with one of the transcribers who might be able to give you lots of info.

Subject: [ROOTS-L] Ship Lists

How do you find records for a ship that is not listed in the `ship lists'?
I have a microfilm account of the `Armida', mastered by Captain Rose whose
route was via the port of Hamburg, through Quebec, Canada, disenbarking at the
port of Buffalo, New York in May of 1852. Yet I have been unable to find any
more details on this ship, it's master or passengers.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Carol D.
