Subject: [ROOTS-L] Ship Lists

ANSWER TO BELOW:

Carol,
Don't forget to try Cindy's list in searching for a ship. Also you might try
the below site. It's a little time consuming to search but there is lots in
there to find.

_http://www.immigrantships.net/_ (http://www.immigrantships.net/)

_Immigrant Ships Transcribers Guild_ (http://www.immigrantships.net/)

Also.....have you Googled for the ship?
Hope this helps, Gretchen

ORIGINAL QUESTION:

From: CDa9458691@cs.com
Subject: Ship Lists

How do you find records for a ship that is not listed in the `ship lists'?
I have a microfilm account of the `Armida', mastered by Captain Rose whose
route was via the port of Hamburg, through Quebec, Canada, disenbarking at
the
port of Buffalo, New York in May of 1852. Yet I have been unable to find
any
more details on this ship, it's master or passengers.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Carol D.
