Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: 1904 Naturalization and/or Application Papers.?

Hello Frank,

Most people naturalized in the nearest court where they were living at
the time they naturalized. So you might start your search in the place
(city, town, county) where he was living in 1904. For some tips see...

Finding US Naturalization Records (a genealogy guide)
http://home.att.net/~wee-monster/naturalizationrecords.html

The 1900-1930 censuses tell whether a person was naturalization and
give year of immigration to the US. The the 1920 census gives year of
naturalization.

For some help with passenger lists you might try...

Finding Passenger Lists 1820-1940s (arrivals at US Ports)
http://home.att.net/~wee-monster/passengers.html

Happy searching.

Regards,
Joe
