Subject: [ROOTS-L] FLINT surname

Alta, I have one FLINT in my files: A Nelson H. FLINT b. May 5, 1834; d.
Jun. 3, 1924. He married my ggrandfather's sister Mary S. MILLER. I have
no clue where he came from or where they lived. The only reference I have
to them is in a hand lettered booklet done by my ggrandfather John M.
MILLER. This MILLER family lived in Newfane, Vermont.

According to this they had one child, a son Leon N. FLINT. b. Oct 8, 1875.
There is no marriage date given but I would suppose before 1875.

If you know anything about this family I would be interested in any info.
I am not going to chase this family around the country but it would be
interesting to know a bit more about them. Ruth
