  Thank you very much for your input.  I received several suggestions, but only a few that were correct.  It appears that when the 1880 Census was digitized, LDS made an error.  Some suggested (or actually looked themselves) that I check an original copy and not rely on a transcription, which I did.  The name Jesse Darnel does not appear with the family in H/H 18 in Bradyville, Cannon County, Tennessee.  Therefore I can remove Jessey Darnel from my database.
   
  In actuality, William Sissom married Loula A. Ring 15 Oct 1877 in Cannon County, Tennessee.  The marriage license was issued 08 Dec 1876.  There were no multiple marriages involved.  I thought since I posted the question, I should also post the resolution.
