The WPA records for Mississippi are held by the Mississippi Dept. of
Archives & History in Jackson. They have unpublished guide available for
both the collection and a repository guide ... may well be published by now.
I'd check their online site and if you don't find what you want, then
contact them. Several things catch my eye - Manuscripts Survey,
Naturalization Records Survey, Inventory of Church Records (which would
possible include church-related cemeteries), an Veterans' Grave Registration
Survey.

I hope this discussion is catching the eye of those who have never used WPA
records!

RE Eudora Welty -- how I hated to hear that she died. I love her beautiful
book "Country Churchyards" (2000, University of Mississippi Press).
