Farrer (Farrow) has been missing in two census records for 20 years. Below is the information I have on him: Aquilla M. Farrow born in Jefferson Co GA, as per his parents family bible on 10 Apr 1834 16-year-old Aquilla M. Farrow in the 1850 Jefferson County, GA Census Aquilla married Susan Berryhill on 26 Oct 1856 in Jefferson Co GA. 26-year-old Quilla Farrer in the 1860 Jefferson County, GA Census with wife & 1-year old twin son's Josh & Noah. Aquilla's father James H. Farrow died in the early 1850's and as the only brother to survive the Civil War Aquilla was the family patriarch. In 1868 the only unmarried sibling Evelyn Ann Farrer married Lavine C. Berryhill in Barbour Co AL. Church records show the Berryhill's, mother Mary Farrer and Aquilla's oldest 2 sons were members of a DeKalb county church from 1872. I suspect but have to verification that Ann would not have made the trip to Barbour Co AL without mother & older brother Aquilla. Aquilla's 3rd son Albert W. Farrer was born 16 Sep 1872 in Fort Payne, DeKalb Co AL. 48-year-old Aquilla Farr in the 1880 DeKalb County, AL Census with new wife Frances (Johnson, sons Albert W & William J. Lost his DeKalb county AL propery to back taxes in 1892. 70-year-old Aquilla Farrer in the 1900 Bartow County, GA Census with son William John Farrer & family. As per obituary Aquilla M Farrer died on 10 Mar 1916 in Jefferson County, GA. Where he had been visiting nephews Isaac M. Farrer & John D. Scruggs. Thanks for census or any other information.
