Perhaps Russia. Wait, his English was perfect New York-ese, so he must have been nth generation. Anyway, he's a gaping hole in my research, so anything you have might be of interest to me. George Orth, 1895, 1959, m abt 1919 to Grace Babcock. Lived in New York City, then bought a home in Malden Bridge NY, about 1930, but spending only weekends there. Produced commercials for early TV.
