Subject: [ROOTS-L] WPA Cemetery & Vital Statistics Records

Hi Group,

   I searched the archives but unable to find an answer.  Is there any specific place where all the WPA Records were stored or archived?  Since it was a govt program, I was wondering if there was a way to locate them?  Were they housed in each individual county or state?

   I have seen some of the cemetery transcriptions, which were very helpful in locating and verifying information but not in all areas.  It seems very hit and miss on whether the information still exists.

   Would love to have a response,
