He was the son of Thomas Williams Flint and Abby E. Thomas. According to the 1880 census he was born about 1871 in Maine. At that time the family lived in Holliston, Massachusetts but had returned to Maine by the 1900 census. I can account for all the family from 1900 on except Daniel. His siblings were Lydia Anne Flint (1861 -); Storer T. Flint (1865 - 1911); and Bert N. Flint (1869 -). He also had a half sister, Jenny Estey, daughter of Theodore Ludlow Estey and Abby E Thomas, (1885 - 1967). All I've been able to find about Daniel Lafayette Flint is a brief note from a cousin (now deceased) that he was married but had no children, the 1880 census and that he was mentioned in his brother Storer's obituary in 1911 as being a surviving brother and maybe living in Monson, Maine. The obit was vague about where he lived. He was called Dell Flint in the obit. I've searched the census index on Ancestry and Heritage Quest. I've done a Google search. I searched the GenWeb and everything else I can think of with no luck at all. I'll appreciate any bit of info or any fresh ideas of places to look for him. Alta
