Alfred lists as a laborer. They are also listed in the 1910 PA Miracode Index Record. They are listed in the 1920 US census as resident on North Hyde Park Ave, Scranton. Alfred lists as Proprietor of a General Store. He was born in Ohio of Welsh parents and was 51 at census date (6 Jan 1920). She was born in PA and was 46 on census day. In the 1930 census, Catharine is still resident on North Hyde Park Ave with sdtatus shown as widow. We think they lived in the West Scranton section of the town{we think it was the 15th or 20th ward??} We dont know his birth year ,but her's was 1873 and she was born in Pa.
