Emma is the sister of the woman I believe to be my great grandmother, Elizabeth Nethercott of Monkleigh, Devon, England. James and Emma Harris appear in the 1901 English census with two daughters Nellie and Gladys living in Bideford, Devon, England. My interest is in obtaining a DNA sample from the direct female descendant of Emma Harris. I will have it tested at my expense to be compared with a DNA sample that my cousin , a direct female descendant of Elizabeth Nethercott, to prove or disprove my belief that Elizabeth Nethercott is my Great Grandmother.
