Record in the county as it was ... the original place of birth, death, etc.
All genealogists should know that it is vital to be sure and check out the
formation of every county they come across to know its origins.  In my
classes I have students prepare a county lineage just as they do a personal
lineage.  Draw the chart, enter the dates, KNOW YOUR COUNTY!
    Records are not moved - they stay in place.
