Subject: [ROOTS-L] RE: Am starting database

ANSWER TO BELOW:

Joyce,
You might try emailing Diana Muir, the coordinator for Grafton County, New
Hampshire "USGenWeb" page. They have some cemetery information and I'm sure
they would be delighted to have whatever it is you have found.

Her email address is listed under the town of Haverhill and also down at the
bottom of the page. If she knows of a better site or has any advice I'm sure
she will let you know.

Will send the URL and hyperlink for that page. Will also send the URL and
hyperlink for the main USGenWeb page.
Hope this helps, Gretchen

PS - Don't forget everyone.....there is also a "World GenWeb Page"!!

ORIGINAL QUESTION:

From: "J. Hollenbeck" <jholly1968@tpk.net>
Subject: [ROOTS-L] Am starting database

To all:

In my spare time, I've begun compiling a database of the local cemeteries,
their locations and "occupants" of Grafton County, New Hampshire.

I've looked online and it seems that this area isn't covered very well. If
I'm mistaken, please let me know. Also, where is the best place to post this
information? I don't have the time to maintain a website. Would Rootsweb be
an appropriate place?

I don't have a lot of ancestors in this area but do haunt the cemeteries
quite regularly as I'm fascinated by the carving and the stories in stone
I've found locally. I've also discovered a lot of hidden and family
cemeteries that may not be very well-known. I've started with Canaan, New
Hampshire, as that is where I live. If anyone has any queries regarding
Canaan, I can look for you.

Joyce Hollenbeck
