You probably would have merged your generations several times by the time you reach the 16th generation. You have done an interesting piece of math. I tried to convince my employer to pay me for one month a penny the first day of work, 2 cents the second day, 4 cents the third day, 8 cents, etc. continuing to double the amount each day for 30 days. On the last day of the month, they would pay me what was due on the last day of the month keeping what would be due for the first 29 days. And to top off the deal, I would work for the next 29 years and eleven months without pay. If you take the numbers of Number 30, put in two decimal points, and put a dollar sign in front, you will see that I would not have done too poorly for a simple social worker. $5,303,173.12 Stuart
