The Hannover Gazette 11 Mar 1846 published it. The obit stated that he died near the city of Hanover [my conjecture is that it was in W. Manheim Twp] See following article that appeared 1 mo. before he died: The Spectator [Hanover, PA] 11 Feb. 1846: " . . .Public Sale. The subscriber will offer at Public Vendue, at the house of John BAIR, Jr. in the Borough of Hanover, on FRIDAY the 27th day of February next, 34 ACRES and 139 Perches of WOODLAND, well mixed with chestnut, situate 1 1/2 to 2 miles from Hanover, on the main road heading to Dubs' Mill, to be sold in LOTS, as follows: No. 1. EIGHT ACRES AND 36 Perches adjoining lands of Christian STOVER, Michael BEAR and others. No. 2. TWO ACRES adjoining George HIMES and an 8 Acres Lot and others, formerly H. REISINGER. No. 3. SIX ACRES and 24 Perches, adjoining Jacob EICHELBERGER, dec'd. and other Lots, with a never failing spring of water, and bordering on the main road. No. 4.
