Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: Copy photos or text off page

For the listers who want to get parts of text or photos off anything on
their screen.
One more way for Mac users to get copy of part of a page or whole page that
is displayed on the screen. It's called a screen shot. I'm not sure how this
works on PCs.
1. Get the desired information on your screen.
2 Press and hold these two keys. Shift and Apple
3. While these two keys are down press number 4 key. ( number 3 key, then
click to get whole page)
4. The cursor will turn into a cross hair.
5. Click the mouse and drag to select the portion of the screen you wish to
copy. Let go of the clicker.
6. You may hear a camera "click."
7. Look on desk or in hard drive. You should see a file called Picture 1
( or 2 or .....)

This has many uses. Have fun. Pat
