Last fall, I was suspended from the net because I had gotten a virus/worm or whatever the hell it is that was using my email address to send out spam of an especially unwanted variety. I got several warnings. I tried and tried to get rid of it. I thought my computer friend had fixed it. It kept on showing up. it took a lot of time and expertise to finally erase it. I want whatever protection earthlink.com would like me to have. I don't want to get thrown off the net again. So please remember, we are not being snooty and unpleasant. We're doing what's necessary.
