Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: ROOTS-L Digest V06 #38

To those of you who have a problem with our spam blocking:

Thanks for being understanding and taking the time to do that silly request to be put on a list.

Last fall, I was suspended from the net because I had gotten a virus/worm or whatever the hell it is that was using my email address to send out spam of an especially unwanted variety.

I got several warnings. I tried and tried to get rid of it. I thought my computer friend had fixed it. It kept on showing up. it took a lot of time and expertise to finally erase it. I want whatever protection earthlink.com would like me to have. I don't want to get thrown off the net again.

So please remember, we are not being snooty and unpleasant. We're doing what's necessary.

Can you go the extra mile with us? Thanks, and aloha from Hawaii.

David Kayner
