They lived in Rock Co., WI and are found in the 1860 Census,p.64. Supposedly they are buried in the St. Michael's Cemetery in Porter Twp. Children: 1-Julia McCARTHY-b.5 Jul 1851-Ireland-d.29 Sep 1916-IA married Lewis Wirt SQUIRES on 8 Sep 1872 in Rock Co. X- 2-Anna (Bridget?)McCARTHY,b. 3 Jul 1854-Ireland-d. 31 Oct 1947 in Greene,Butler,IA. Md. Daniel MURPHY-1 Mar 1878 in Evansville,Rock,WI. 3-Jonny McCARTHY, infant in 1855-Ireland-on ships' list. Child #2-Anna & family are found in 1930-1920-1910-1900-1895-1880 Censuses of Butler Co., IA and in 1860 census of Rock Co.,WI (not found yet in 1870 census). Main purpose is to find where in Ireland or County Cork that this family came from. Thanks for any additions, suggestions to this family. Appreciate your time. Renee
