Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: Bremen ship/passenger data?

Hello Joe,
Unfortunately, most Bremen passenger lists were destroyed, first to
make space and then during WWII. The few that did survive are in the
years from 1920-1939. See: <http://www.schiffslisten.de/index_en.html>

Have you looked at the Baltimore passenger list for the ship and date
you have? That should have additional information about the
passengers. *Some* Baltimore lists in your time frame have the place
(town) of residence for the passengers. The lists will also usually
have name, age, gender and occupation. The lists are on microfilm,
available at the National Archives (and some branches), and the LDS
Family History Library - so the microfilm can be loaned out to local
Family History Centers. For information see...

Good luck with your search.

Regards,
Joe
