   William Donaldson, Rev Vet
 
I really would like to learn the names of the wife and children of William
the Rev Vet. He was born 1762 in Hillsborough, Rutherford County, NC.
After the Rev War he moved to Abbeville, SC, then into DeKalb County,
GA. He applied for his pension in DeKalb County. Later he moved to
Talbot County, GA, I believe with his son named William. He moved his
pension to Talbot and collected through an agent in Savannah Ga (which I
don't understand), until he died.
In Dekalb County there were ELI and BETSY on the census, and they
are also in Talbot county a little later. Are they William's children?
I am guessing the family slipped on over into Alabama after
William's death. I have no proof of that. They disappeared from Talbot
and I don't know where they went.
I have a copy of his pension application, which has no personal information.
PLEASE HELP me on this problem.
